We are seeking a safety-minded Art Handler / Non CDL Driver for full-time employment in our Los Angeles office to be a key contributor in assuring our services meets or exceeds our customers’ expectations.
Job duties
Local driving, 18 and 26 foot box trucks (CDL is NOT required). Clean safety record & MVR
Safe movement of artwork to and from Atelier 4 vehicles
Prepare, warehouse and ship artwork
Transport, install/display and store art collections
Load & secure art/cargo. Assist with wrapping & packing
Client –facing / Positive client interactions and customer engagement
Prepare paperwork and maintain proper documentation & reports
Qualifications
1+ year of truck driving experience (local); with art-shipper, gallery, collections management, museum handling, studio assist, or similar work environment.
Knowledge of cargo securement, safe handling practices, and experience with fragile cargo is a plus.
Ability to work safely with hand-tools, matte knives, drill-gun, etc.
Minimum of high school degree or equivalent; minimum 21 years of age.
Punctual & presentable, good communications skills, legible handwriting.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Regular and predictable attendance
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds as part of the daily activity
Ability to work extended periods of standing, bending, lifting and/or driving
Ability to effectively communicate with others (verbally and in writing)
Ability to work in a fast paced and consistently busy environment
Drug Free environment / safe work environment
Position requires 5% to 10% of overnight travel (company funded)
Full –time work – NOT gig work

Storage Sales Manager

Position Summary
The Storage Sales Manager (SSM) is responsible for developing, nurturing and expanding storage sales for the Company.
The SSM will manage client relationships anchored by storage and will manage those clients’ projects across all lines of
business, ensuring responsiveness and overall client satisfaction. This role requires the ability to manage multiple,
concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment with attention to the highest level of detail.
Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight & Management
Take ownership of the Company’s storage clients and their service needs.
Cross-sell the Company’s full catalogue of services to existing storage clients.
Develop new storage accounts from prospective clients.
Coordinate client projects, ensuring accuracy, timely response and flawless execution.
Collaborate with the Director of Museum and Exhibition Services, Director of Private Client and Commercial
Services, Operations, and members of the Executive Committee to meet client expectations.
Manage budgets, timelines, client communications, invoicing, billing and cost-tracking for all projects.
Ensure compliance with best practices in fine art handling, transport, and storage.
Participate in sales meetings and the Company’s overall growth strategies.
Collaborate with the Directors and senior management on new sales opportunities for estimating and booking.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred; trade school or experiential equivalent considered
5+ years of experience in client management or project management within fine art services, logistics, or luxury
client services.
Specific experience relevant to the storage of fine art and / or other valuable tangible property including
collections management, cataloguing, records keeping, inventory management and registrar experience.
Strong network within the art world, particularly among museums, galleries, dealers, art advisors, and private
clients and auction houses.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to oversee projects with precision.
Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office Suite; knowledge of Oracle NetSuite a plus.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications

Interstate / Long Distance Driver (New York City)

Atelier 4 Inc has always set itself apart from other logistic carriers with our innovative & highest quality of service. We are seeking a safety-minded Interstate / Long Distance Driver (CDL not required) for full-time employment to be a key contributor in assuring our services meets or exceeds our customers’ expectations.
Truck Driver Responsibilities
· Drive long distances to deliver goods to customers.
· Load and unload cargo, packing and handling artwork.
· Record cargo deliveries
· Refuel and maintain clean vehicle (fleet is fueled & serviced by Ryder)
· Report road incidents to the dispatcher and follow traffic laws.
· Inspect trucks and record issues and maintain an activities / hour’s log via ELD
· Follow accident reporting procedures.
· Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel.
· Maintain a positive attitude with customers.
· Keep driver license & medical card up to date and maintain a safe driving record at all times.
Qualifications
· Two years truck driving experience and a clean safety record & MVR
· No DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven-year, insurance requirement
· Minimum of high school degree or equivalent; minimum 21 years of age
· Knowledge of cargo securement, safe handling practices, and experience with fragile cargo is a plus.
· Dependable, presentable and legible handwriting; ability to work a as team driver.
· Good listening and verbal communication skills

Pay & Benefits
· Salary: Drivers are paid a day-rate ranging from $250.00to $285.00 DOE(no unsafe rushing to earn pay-miles)
· Trips generally last about 21 days depending on route and one week off (flexible scheduling)
· Drivers operate in teams: bring your own partner, or match with one of our current companies drivers
· Lodging and food per-diem is provided by the company.
· Company benefits Include: medical, dental and vision coverage and 401(k) plan after eligibility period.
· Drivers are provided with company credit card for misc. over the road expenses.
· Employee parking is provided for driver’s cars safe keeping while on the road.
· Travel stipend for drivers reporting to NY for trip commencement is available.
