Atelier 4 was founded by an art handler who’d solo driven straight trucks coast-to-coast. Crates were built on the lift-gate, paintings were rigged up the side of buildings on fire escapes, routes were overnight back-roading; it was pure late-80’s “cowboy” days. Starting A4, we vowed to create a safe & equitable space for workers, where our colleagues are supported and afforded a sense of pride in their work, and not subjected to the usual art-world burn-out hustle.

At A4, we’re looking for people who feel our message, want to be compensated for their efforts, and need a place to call a home away from home.
