Position Summary
The Storage Sales Manager (SSM) is responsible for developing, nurturing and expanding storage sales for the Company.
The SSM will manage client relationships anchored by storage and will manage those clients’ projects across all lines of
business, ensuring responsiveness and overall client satisfaction. This role requires the ability to manage multiple,
concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment with attention to the highest level of detail.
Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight & Management
Take ownership of the Company’s storage clients and their service needs.
Cross-sell the Company’s full catalogue of services to existing storage clients.
Develop new storage accounts from prospective clients.
Coordinate client projects, ensuring accuracy, timely response and flawless execution.
Collaborate with the Director of Museum and Exhibition Services, Director of Private Client and Commercial
Services, Operations, and members of the Executive Committee to meet client expectations.
Manage budgets, timelines, client communications, invoicing, billing and cost-tracking for all projects.
Ensure compliance with best practices in fine art handling, transport, and storage.
Participate in sales meetings and the Company’s overall growth strategies.
Collaborate with the Directors and senior management on new sales opportunities for estimating and booking.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred; trade school or experiential equivalent considered
5+ years of experience in client management or project management within fine art services, logistics, or luxury
client services.
Specific experience relevant to the storage of fine art and / or other valuable tangible property including
collections management, cataloguing, records keeping, inventory management and registrar experience.
Strong network within the art world, particularly among museums, galleries, dealers, art advisors, and private
clients and auction houses.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to oversee projects with precision.
Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office Suite; knowledge of Oracle NetSuite a plus.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
